Are Weaving Motor Homes Something
We Have to Deal With? We've been told that all motor homes weave back and forth in their driving lane and they all have problems with wind, trucks passing, etc. Also, that you just have to learn to drive them and deal with these problems. Is this correct?

Our Response:You've been told wrong, Sharon. Any highway patrol officer will tell you that it is illegal for any vehicle to weave down the highway. Most commercial buses, for example, can handle sidewinds between 15 and 30 mph without substantial movement. The reasons RVs handle this way is because they have inadequate wheelbase and routinely bad balance. It's a complicated issue that we are trying to address.
