An Example of "Almost New"

This 1998 motor home by Rexhall has a Ford chassis with a GVWR of 17,000 pounds and a wheelbase of 228 inches. It is 33-and-a-half feet long and 102 inches wide, and includes the following equipment:
  • Two A/C units, front and rear
  • Microwave/Convection oven
  • Side-by-side refrigerator
  • Stereo, two TVs, and VCR
  • Hydraulic levelers
  • Aluminum wheels
  • Sixteen-foot awning
  • Deluxe cabinetry upgrade
  • Solid surface countertops in kitchen
  • Power windows
  • Luggage rack and ladder
  • Storm windows
  • Gas generator (5.5 kW)
  • Stowmaster tow bar

We walked all the way around the motor home to get an overview. It looked impressive, with no sign of leakage around the front cap.

This model has a good wheelbase-to-length ratio and there's not a bubble or wrinkle in the sidewalls.

The rear cap and roof ladder are completely intact. When we checked the roof, we could find no flaw or areas where it could have leaked. The exterior looks completely new—like it just left the factory.

Storage compartments are plentiful. The generator has about 10 hours on it.

The interior, as shown in the following photos, is immaculate:

The owner tells us he and his wife have never used the motor home for travel, although that was their intention when they bought it (they visited Washington's Olympic Peninsula, fell in love with it, decided to buy a home and stay).

The availability of this used motor home proves that there are great deals to be found...you simply need to be ready for them. Use the RV Ratings CD and all other publications we offer for your research, and you will be ready to choose when the time is right for you.
